ANN ROSEVEAR, Chief Executive Officer
Ann Rosevear joined IWT in August 2006 as Chief Administrative Officer and now serves as Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Rosevear is a founding partner at Walsh, Baker & Rosevear, P.C., in Reno, Nevada, where her practice includes counsel to IWT during significant investment rounds. Her firm practice focused on entrepreneurial technology companies, development company structure and investment, and estate planning. Ms. Rosevear began her career at Marsh & Higgins, P.C. in Vancouver, Washington, in 1996. Thereafter, she worked in-house as a legal and business advisor to a conglomeration of innovative start-up companies based in Incline Village, Nevada. In 2002, she transitioned into private firm practice while continuing to advise this primary group of clients. Ms. Rosevear holds a BA from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (1992) and a J.D. from Gonzaga University School of Law, cum laude. She has been admitted to practice in Nevada, Washington, Oregon and various court jurisdictions.
TIMOTHY K. TSUKAMOTO, Ph.D., Director of Technology
Dr. Tsukamoto has served as IWT’s Director of Technology since 2006, previously serving as a company director and advisor for several years. Dr. Tsukamoto is responsible for the qualification and monitoring all field applications of the RCTS technology and bioreactor treatments to assure the best treatment designs and results for IWT clients.
Prior to joining IWT as Technology Director, Dr. Tsukamoto worked as a Research Assistant Professor at the University of Nevada, Reno and was the principal of TKT Consulting, LLC. During the past 14 years, Dr. Tsukamoto has developed and implemented acid mine drainage treatment and prevention technologies at sites throughout North America; he also regularly participates in EPA and US Forest Service Technical Advisory Committees for several U.S. mine sites. Dr. Tsukamoto holds a Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry from the University of Nevada, Reno, regularly presents at acid mine drainage and water treatment conferences and forums, has received several grants and awards in his industry, and has written or co-written more than 35 publications and presentations relating to application of the RCTS technology, sulfate-reducing bioreactors and acid mine drainage.
VANCE WEEMS, Operations & Project Manager
Vance Weems joined IWT in October 2006, having previously managed inventory for branches of Smith Power Products, Inc. with annual sales in excess of $12M. Mr. Weems contributes 10+ years experience in managing mining inventory and serving the mining industry. Mr. Weems previously specialized in the repair and maintenance of underground mining production equipment and gained significant experience working at the “speed of mining”, including participating in the design and marketing of the first engine to meet 2007 MSHA underground diesel emission standards. Mr. Weems coordinates operations plans in the IWT assembly plant, provides on-site and standards to ensure the best possible project implementation and client services.
JACOB KOCKLER, Technology Representative (Ind. Contract)
Jacob Kockler contracted to IWT in 2008 to perform technology sales and project management with emphasis in mining operations in western US mining states. Before joining IWT, Mr. Kockler gained experience in mining remediation management, including construction management at the superfund Leviathan Mine in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, where he was first introduced to the IWT bioreactor and RCTS projects located at that site. Mr. Kockler’s on-site experience at historic mine sites and his specialized knowledge of waste water treatment in mining and reverse osmosis enhance his focus in identifying mining applications for IWT technologies. Mr. Kockler holds a B.S. in Environmental Science / Soil & Water Concentration and a B.S. in Land Rehabilitation from Montana State University. He resides in Manhattan, Mt.
Tim Carter contracted to IWT in 2009 to provide engineering and project management consultation on a per-project basis. Mr. Carter brings 20+ years experience in engineering, maintenance, and project management in the steel and mining industries to the IWT suite of water treatment plant design services.
Tim Carter, PE, Field Engineering Consultant
Mr. Carter worked in management for Nucor Steel from 1995 to 2008, overseeing a 160-person, $60 million budget maintenance department in a steel casting operation. From 1988 to 1995, Mr. Carter worked primarily in the Mining and Metals Division as well as acting as the electrical contracts. Mr. Carter holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nevada, Reno (1987), and has extensive profession-related and general leadership training. Mr. Carter is presently the principal of Carter Bros. Ace Hardware in Reno, Nevada and acts as an independent engineering consultant.
